ADUA | Platform for Territorial Architecture

ADUA is an urban and territorial regeneration platform that operates at various project scales, from established urban contexts to marginalized physical and social contexts, as well as landscape transformations and territorial strategy. It experiments with a wide range of research and design tools. The platform’s primary goal is to implement public and private interest projects in the field of urban transformation and innovation for the benefit of the community, engaging civil society, research, policymakers, and stakeholders (facilitating various forms of collaboration between the city’s various stakeholders), thus building an innovative urban and territorial regeneration pipeline.

Ezio Melchiorre (Bari 1988)

Architect e urbanist

In 2020, he founded ADUA | Platform for Territorial Architecture and is a consultant to the Ministry of Culture for the Sepino Archaeological Park and the Regional Directorate of National Museums of Molise. Since 2021, he has been working on the PNRR M1-M3 mission projects at the regional level. From 2014 to 2018, he was a designer for the Dogma studio (Brussels), with which he participated in the Venice and Chicago Biennales and in the drafting of the 2015-30 master plans for the Albanian territory. In 2014, he won the IUAV Design your future competition. He studied at the Polytechnic University of Bari, graduating with an experimental thesis on "Köln Via Sacra," a project selected for the 2013 international exhibition Vie Sacre. He served as a design tutor at the Polytechnic University of Bari for the international seminars "Die Kölner Via Sacra," "LLP Rebuild the urban form," "Lid'A 10," and "Blueville."

Cristina Danisi (1996)

Architect

She studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Bari, graduating in July 2020 with an experimental thesis in urban planning, focusing on the role of universities in urban regeneration processes. A member of the Order of Architects of the Province of Bari, she conducts design and research in the fields of regional architecture and heritage restoration and enhancement, participating in design competitions and public commissions, as well as project management for private construction sites, and also working in interior design. Since 2020, she has collaborated with the Polytechnic University of Bari on the regional research project "Puglia University Region: studying and living in welcoming and sustainable cities." Since 2025, she has been a consultant for A.S.S.E.T. – Regional Strategic Agency for the Eco-sustainable Development of the Territory, providing technical support for the drafting of final projects and the regulatory compliance of public buildings.

Massimo Termite (Bressanone 1997)

ha studiato Architettura presso il Politecnico di Bari, laureandosi nel luglio 2025 con una tesi sperimentale in progettazione architettonica dal titolo “Il progetto topografico nei paesaggi costieri. Il Parco archeologico di Egnathia”, ricerca che mira alla valorizzazione e alla ridefinizione della topografia e dell’architettura antica del sito. Nel 2022 collabora alla cura del catalogo dei progetti nella monografia "Il modello come sineddoche. Spazio, struttura, forma per un'idea di architettura collettiva", Libria 2022. Nel 2023 collabora alla cura del catalogo dei progetti nella monografia "Case in Ticino", Libria 2023, e in cui è autore del saggio dal titolo "Il disegno come luogo di conoscenza delle forme".

Gaetano Albino (Bari 1988)
